Our pitch

Featured Project: Duolingo

We spent almost a year with Duolingo to write, research and produce The Duolingo Handbook.

The book tells the 14-year story of the company, covers the key ideas and practices that make it so different, and unpacks loads of insights and principles that any tech or consumer business can learn from.

Adam Delehanty

Founder & CEO

My job is to help leaders find the language their ideas deserve.

I started my career in politics, learning how the right words can move people to action. Since then, I’ve spent a decade partnering with some of the most brilliant minds in technology and culture — often at defining moments in their careers. Together, we’ve shaped the stories that clarified their mission, rallied their teams, and reshaped their businesses.

Ghost is best known for culture books: long-form artifacts that capture how the most innovative organizations think. Beyond that, I love coaching clients on how they communicate across media — from keynotes and videos to the everyday language that defines a company’s culture.

Kristen Lowe

Head of Research

I began my career as a debate coach teaching students at Harvard, Dartmouth and other schools how to craft sharp arguments. From there, I jumped into management consulting for tech companies before joining Hinge, where I led Organizational Effectiveness and shaped Hinge's vision for the future of work while helping leaders find smarter, more human ways to work.

At Ghost, I get to combine my coaching and business experience to help clients figure out who they are, what they're about, and how to share messages that rise above the noise.

Working with Adam was an essential part of launching my fund. He helped me shape and then express my core investment thesis, and publish a viral essay that continues to attract top founders and LPs.

FAQs

  • Consistently painless. And on the best days, quite fun.

At the most basic level, our work begins with an interview (or many) covering your journey, your company and the topics you care most about. The real work is turning those conversations into exceptional content that moves the needle for you and your business.

  • Mostly they fall into three personas:

    1) Founders who who want to use content and storytelling to raise funding, attract talent and inspire their team.

    2) Investors who want to increase their reach and promote their expertise for founders and LPs.

    3) Brands that want to leverage content and storytelling to break through the noise, capture customer interest and polish their public-facing copy.

  • Sure, if it’s a great fit. Send us a note, or just book a quick call here.

  • There’s a smidge of overlap. But PR firms focus on getting you or your company exposure in the media, where we help you publish original content that is published across both owned and external media. One area of overlap: media prep. We often help our clients prepare for podcasts, media appearances and presentations, just like a traditional PR firm.
